Apple and pear juice, a classic combination made from fruit that would otherwise be wasted.

Brighton Permaculture Trust is a charity that promotes greener lifestyles and sustainable development through design. They deliver courses and events and apply permaculture principles to their projects.

Run by an experienced team of permaculturists and volunteers, supported by a management group and trustees. Formed in September 2000 as an ethical not-for-profit organisation operating in Brighton and Sussex and is a member of the national Permaculture Association.

They aim to promote sustainable development for the benefit of the public by the preservation, conservation and the protection of the environment and the prudent use of resources.

They harvest unused fruit in Brighton & Hove and transform it into delicious juices, jams and chutneys. Most recently, they've expanded their scrumping project by building a straw bale structure in Stanmer Park to serve at their scrumping headquarters. The Fruit Factory is a hub of all things fruity!
